Upgrade Procedures

(caution)
Please check the battery level of HDP-M3000
before carrying out the firmware update. When
there is minimal battery residual quantity,
it will not allow you to properly upgrade
your fimware so in order to avoid this, please
charge your battery first and then upgrade
your firmware. |

Download "M3000XEVer1.11.zip"
clicking the following link, and save it onto
your PC.

Decompress "M3000XEVer1.11.zip
using WinZip software a Free copy of which
can be downloaded from www.winzip.com
After decompression, extract the file "M3000.upg"
to a folder you make on your Hard drive. |

Connect your M3000 player to your PC by
USB connection cable. |

Using the Explorer function of Windows OS,
transfer the "M3000. upg" file to
the root directory of your removable media
(M3000 player). |

Safely remove your HDP-M3000 from your USB
connection. |

Power on your HDP-M3000. "WAITING"
will be displayed.

The above message will then be displayed and
"UPGRADE NOW" will flash. When the
firmware update is completed, the unit will
turn itself off automatically. |

Power on the HDP-M3000, and press the MENU
key.Press the right / left key and select
"SETTINGS" from Top Menu. |

Select "System Settings" from
the list display menu of "SETTINGS". |
| 3 |
If "player Info" is selected from
the list display menu of "System Settings",
the firmware version(1.11) will be displayed. |
